Mission Statement

Every year we strive to increase worldwide access to STE(A)M education and spread the ideal of our host organization FIRST. We do this by reaching out to our local communities and industry professionals.

HELLO!

We are Team QuadX 6299, a FTC robotics team based out of Vandegrift Highschool in Austin, Texas. We were established eleven years ago, in 2012 and have been participating in FIRST ever since.

Our Most Important Morale

Gracious professionalism: Gracious Professionalism is a method of doing things that encourages high quality work, emphasizes the value of others, and respects individuals and the community.

For The Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology

QuadX is robotics a team that competes in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). FTC is a branch of FIRST, which consists of 3 other subsections, the the FIRST Lego League (FLL) and Jr. FLL for elementary and middle schoolers, respectively, and the last subsection being FRC, the FIRST Robotics Competition. One of the key values of FIRST is that of "Gracious Professionalism," a term coined by Woodie Flowers. In short, we make it a priority not only to be successful but to help other teams to succeed as well.
